I purchased two pairs of these on a previous Woot. The left shoe of both pairs squeaks during every step. Very annoying. If you know how to fix that, please share. Otherwise, avoid this deal.
Though I currently swear by the Nike Free Flyknit 4.0, the Kinvara is a fine minimal shoe. Very popular around here (probably the shoe I see most often). There’s probably a reason for that. . .
Don’t take my word for it as there’s a really good write up here
“Avoid this deal” because one person got a squeaky shoe? Au contraire. These are great shoes at a great price. And my Saucony shoes have never squeaked.
I got the Women’s Omni shoes last time. They are the best overpronation shoes out there. If my size wasn’t already sold out I would have bought another.
I had a feeling I missed something-- thought these might be the 5, but they’re the 4. Hence, I must renounce myself and say the the 4 is the exception to the otherwise Kinvara line-- an OK shoe NOT a great shoe.
Basically came here to say this - I’ve ordered several pairs (at full price) elsewhere because these are the ONLY women’s shoes for over pronation. My knees are so much happier for it, and I’m too young to complain about my knees.
Unfortunately, only having ONE size available? Seriously? I know Woot’s into the overstock thing, but ONE size is just plain mean to tease me like that.
I love my Guide 7s.
I overpronate and these are great stabilizer shoes. Same category as the Asics Gt-2000s. But I found these far more comfortable.
I am disappointed that my size isn’t available in any of the colors or even in Mens. And I checked around 830am EST… regardless, if you overpronate and your size is available, I’d snatch these up. There isn’t much difference between these and the new Guide 8s - at least not that I could feel.
