Hi Everyone,
A happy and healthy New Year. Wonderful to start 2017 out with our Three Stags on Woot. The label gives California as the appellation, but this one is 100% Amador with the majority being Zinfandel (57%). The balance is Syrah (17%), Estate Petite Sirah (15%), Barbera (5%), mixed dry reds (4%) and Forte (2%).

Now if only some razzle-frazzle scum hadn’t put fraudulent charges just before the weekend, and it was a few days later, when I have my new card!

Starting the New Year with a 2006 Scott Harvey Amador County Zinfandel!
Amador County is an official designation. This vintage happens to be 100% Amador County. In the future it may not be. I’m leaving myself open to use wines from other area’s of California in future blends.
WineDrew and I started the new year with the resent bottling of the new 2014 Mountain Selection Zinfandel. Yet to be released. We both decided it will do well on woot in a future offering.

Jana and had a bottle last night. It is 100% Santa Lucia Highlands. 50% is the Wrotham clone of Pinot Noir with rest being regular Pinot Noir. It is made in the old world style of red fruit, alcohol at 13.5% and good acidity. A bright pretty Pinot Noir. A wine that won’t show up on Woot, because there was only about 50 cases made.
