bought one of these before, it was DOA

Seagate shipped me a new one

IT went dead within two weeks (screaming and clicking)

Seagate shipped me yet ANOTHER new one

IT died within one day (more clicking)

Seagate shipped me another new one, but 1Tb

that one still works.

Lesson? The 750Gb barracuda drives are respiffed for a reason.

I have this same exact drive but with a smaller capacity. Its solid, and boots vista fast.
