Decent price on this size…With these prices I do not know why they don’t offer a 1 GIGer for around $129…Like Buy dot com does???
That is where the sweet spot is for desktop upgrade/replacement is and should be…

Woot is a discount outlet selling stuff that isn’t moving at its traditional venue. You are unlikely to find that ‘hot’ item here…

Yeah…the reason they aren’t selling at their regular venue is because Seagate is so horrible that no one trusts them. They have the highest amount of data loss than any other brand.
I have about 5 dead Seagate drives sitting in a box.

Yep, those old .10 and .11 Seagates were terrible. I lost half of them in a year. I think these SSD’s should be better.

Every Seagate drive I’ve ever owned in over two decades has died prematurely. I would hope the SSDs are better, but am not hopeful.
The seagate enterprise class drives are almost rock solid. all drives fail after a while. desktop grade are ok but yeah they tend to die shortly after the warranty runs out (funny isn’t it?)… i have never had a seagate ssd so I will give this a try.
