Secura Bread Maker Machine

Secura Bread Maker Machine

Did anyone from Woot actually read the “Features” and “Specs” sections after doing a copy/paste from who-knows-where?

bought this at the woot off. only made one loaf so far but it was delish.

Pretty sure they may have got it from here…

Good machine first I’ve owned. Makes a good basic bread recipe and I’m still experimenting as I find the recipes wanting. Worth it.

The powers-that-be decided that we will import features from Amazon whenever possible so no, they’re not usually read.

Tried to convince my wife we needed this to save her trouble every three days as she makes gluten free bread.
She said she might have been convinced if (a) we did not have a $2,500 range with dual ovens and (b) it was a hot August day, not moving into a cold Minnesota winter!

So much for guy-think versus reality.

“they’re no usually read”
Lol, good one!

DOH!

Put your big boy pants on and just buy it. If you are really worried about her opinion just say you want to help her and this is a convenient way for you to do so.

Bought this the last time it was up. Tried and tried, did troubleshooting with all kinds of settings, but always ended up with bread that was just dough in the middle. Contacted support, and they eventually refunded me via Paypal, but it took weeks.

Nah, her logic was too good. Plus we have storage challenges.

I also bought one when it was up the last time. I love it. The key to keep it out of your summer garage sale is to USE it! Make bread every week! My family loves the fresh loaves of Sweet Bread. I have yet to try the other recipes (like the Sourdough) but using it regularly is key. And it’s not hard: water, butter, dry milk, bread flour, salt and yeast. Three hours later you have fresh bread!

Soak in water for 24 hours and still can’t get blade out, any suggestions?

Did you use the metal (key)tool that came with it?

I just had this problem today! Try letting it dry all the way out so that the dough between the blade and the post shrinks, and then soak it again if it needs it. I think I’m gonna put a little oil on that spot next time, too.

PS, that aside, I love this machine. I’ve been making recipes from the No Fuss bread machine cookbook I found on Amazon, and a superb Rye bread recipe I found online that has made me very popular with my family.
