SEJONG COOK Chestnut Scissors

@RebelTaz

My first thought is ʞɔnɟ yeah! Those things are a pain in the ass to peel! I have the knife cuts to prove it!

My second, third and fourth thoughts are, SCAM!!!

Tried finding videos of them in actual use and this was about all I could come up with

:open_mouth:

If they ACTUALLY work like that, I am going to owe you big time! Thank you!

If they are, as I suspect, just a gimmick… I’m gonna remember who sicced them on me! :cowboy_hat_face:

Lol, I always peeled them with my thumbnails and still have regrets. Grandpa used his penknife.

This thing is cheap enough to give it a try. I hope it works!

This is NUTS!!!

someone had to say it…

OK… I don’t know what in the hell a CHETNET is

:rofl:
but… so… they work… kinda sorta…

The scoring part works GREAT. That not only makes scoring easier, but helps the inner skin slip off easier.

The peeling part, though… :man_shrugging: I’m pretty sure that that is a defect with the user more so than the tool itself. We boil ours nuts (:smirking_face:) - or more accurately, pressure cook them - instead of roasting them. We like them softer than roasting gets them, but that makes the peeling part of this tool harder to use. I think if we were to roast them, it’d probably work out just fine.

I guess you’re off the hook :cowboy_hat_face:

I had bought one for my Mama, too, but it’s not going to help her enough to even bother, so… I guess someone is going to get one in a random woot box one of these days :wink:
