Are you guy serious??? Please don’t let these people at WOOT screw you over too! DO NOT TRY TO BUY THIS. YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT GET IT!

WOOT “sold” 2 batches of these which were never received by customers. After weeks and weeks of ranting, they finally gave everyone a refund! Now they’re trying to sell these again? GOOD LUCK!

If you’re lucky, which I doubt, you probably won’t get this and you’ll get the run around just like I did. Remember, this isn’t the WOOT it used to be and while it’s owned by Amazon, it sure doesn’t act like it.

They had these up earlier in the week and posted a picture showing that they had them in stock, so this time around may be better… which leads to my question:

If I order one will it arrive in time for Christmas?

These things will be under $200 after Christmas and will still be over priced.

Twitter ad has them for $59, if you’re willing to wait 12-days for shipping.

Every last one of them comes from the same manufacturer in China.

APM Marketplace just did a podcast about these.

You won’t find one for $59 and actually get it. These are fun toys. I bought one from an ebay seller shipped from China. They’re very sturdy, easy to learn, and a lot of fun!

NPR Planet Money did a piece on these as well rightHERE.

Anyone know the exact model of these to reference any good reviews?

Bought 2 prior for my kids and did receive them. It took 1 week or 1.5 weeks. Just bought another one few days ago from woot again for my nephew. This one is different as I can see there are protector guards on top of the fender.

We have these in-house now.

Woot can you tell me who manufactured/brand these are? I have mine wrapped for my son for Christmas. With all the news of these catching fire etc I want to make sure before I give this to him it is safe.

The ones we’ve sold have been either Samsung (vast majority) or LG batteries, and to our knowledge none of the fires have occurred in the units with the name brand batteries.
