I received a ‘free’ Sengled bulb with the purchase of an Echo Dot in 2021. It worked perfectly. Over a period of a few months, I purchased more bulbs from Amazon and Woot. I now have over 20 Sengled bulbs. For several months, they were great.
Now, most are ‘unresponsive’. I have turned my light switches off and on 10 times, many, many times to reset them. It have done the 3 times on/off cycle multiple times. I have unplugged and restarted my router once again, many, many times. If have unplugged my dots (6) and restarted them, many, many times. Very Frustrating. Some days, some bulbs are controlable by aleza, other days they are all, or most, ‘unresponsive’. Save yourself a high degree of frustration, do not buy, I wish I hadn’t.
May 14, 2022 update
Most of the lights became controllable a couple of days ago, but I have 6 lights on one switch in my basement that were not responding and a couple the other lights were unresponsive. I did the turn on, turn off 10 times to try to reconnect with the basement lights. 4 out of the six reconnected, but all but 3 of the other light went into unresponsive mode. Out of over 20 lights, this is not good. Frustrating x2. If Senglet offered me a refund on my lamps, it would take it in a second. I wish I could give this product a zero star rating
