Seeing a lot of hype for Serengeti lens optics online. Is it worth the hype?
Serengeti optics are amazing. Had a pair for several years, but priced too high for me to replace, until now. I jumped on this deal.
Definitely. I’ve wanted, but never had a pair until Woot! started selling them for $70 (I snagged the 1 day deal for $56). I only use them for driving. The frames are very light, but the lenses are kinda heavy because they’re made of glass. I’ve made my Maui Jim’s my non-driving optics because they’re lighter and more stylish.
You will never find a better pair of (new) glasses for this price. If you want or need: buy now before they’re gone.
Tip: both lens colors will work (mostly) fit every situation, but go the gunmetal frame (green-ish lens) glasses for the brightest conditions and go with the black frame (amber lens) for darker conditions like driving through trees or cloudiness. I bought both, so I’m totally covered.
