A pack of “washable markers” came in a boc once and I drew one of those faces on my hand where you can move the mouth… when he then started to draw all over his face with them, I said WAIT we better try washing it off first. As I scrubbed and scrubbed the then-5 year-old exclaimed “well APPARENTLY they are not washable”
I don’t see any penguins reason books on that mug.
