I’ve bought two of these and they work much better than I anticipated.
My wife is a bit of a compulsive vacuumer and was extremely skeptical and even she admits that even after her running the upright vacuum these pick up a surprising amount of debris.
these will fill the dust bin on board in a two hour session. I have a large house on a large forested lot in maine and these actually collect a lot of pine pollen this time of year, turns the dust in the container bright yellow.
The only minor inconvenience is that they can rarely find the base again. roughly 1 time in 4 they make it back to base and we usually spend a few minutes looking for the dead unit.
I haven’t bothered with the barrier magnetic tape that would prevent the vacs from finding charger/extension cords etc.
Does this work on shag or deep pile rugs?
How loud is it? My husband worries it might keep us up at night.
