how current is this model? is this the latest?

Does this come in a factory box or brown box? What is the warranty on these refurbs? Are these refurbs from Shark Company?

The 8000+ reviews are for the NV356E model - not the NV355 shown by woot.

Also the reviews mention that shark doesn’t have a 5 yr warranty anymore as of 2017 - in this case it looks like a 90 day warranty.

Not sure but probably not the latest model.

This has a 90-day warranty as noted at the bottom of the features.

The only difference between the NV355 vs the NV356E is that the NV355 (ours) does not come with a 24-inch crevice too (ours comes with an 8’’ crevice tool)

I got mine and it’s missing a carrier for attachments. Not sure if this was intended or not.

After nearly a year with the Shark, my carpet looks much better.

I replaced my DYSON with the Shark.

Does factory reconditioned mean new filters? Also, how clean are these normally? (factory new clean or hard to get dirt still present in corners, hair on the brush, etc.?)

Pictures make it look cordless. Like they went out of their way to photoshop them out of the pictures.

So many manufacturers do that. I guess cords are unsightly.

Per the vendor:

It depends on the unit that the customer receives. If the unit the customer receives came to us sealed, brand new, then the filter will be brand new as well. If the vacuum was used at some point, we put the filter in an industrial-size washer and dryer where it is cleaned thoroughly and re-used. Either way, the customer will always receive a 100% clean filter and vacuum. We take the vacuum completely apart to clean it thoroughly and then re-assembled.

I have a similar Shark vacuum and if you can love a vacuum cleaner, well I love this one. The similar model is $109 at the mother ship.

If I needed another (I’ve already bought two from woot) I would buy this but I already have a spare Shark in the closet ready to hop out when needed.

I highly recommend Shark vacuums. I once raved about my Hoover wind tunnel but nope, it’s Shark from here on out. Hope this helps anyone on the fence.

Did anyone else NOT get the pet hair attachment? I mean it has it in the pictures and was one of the main reasons for my purchase. Disappointing and hoping for resolution.

I received this and is not clean. The bottom part all looks new, but the handle/hose part is definitely pretty much used as I can see dust inside it and it smells used as well. Even the printed label on it faded away and parts of it are scuffed up. Moreover the handle came off on my first use and no longer stays to the main unit. I had high hopes for Shark products and unfortunately this didnt meet my expectations and this was my first Shark purchase.

So much for being refurbished ("We take the vacuum completely apart to clean it thoroughly and then re-assembled. "), wasnt expecting this. Looks like they just dumped a used handle/hose unit from a customer returned damaged one. This would be my last purchase of refurbished stuff on WOOT…
