I’ve got a question for all of you who are smarter than I am about TVs/computers/electronic stuffies
bow

If, say, I’m looking for a TV to:
Play a gaming system (say gamecube/PS2)
Watch TV
Hook up to a computer

What all specifications should I be looking for?

You’d think it was April Foolz Day…

I wonder if this TV will work off my April Foolz Black & Decker power brick.

#11

or Groundhog Day

#12

I would buy one of the cheaper TVs were it not for just spending $900 on car repairs…

Still, cool to see a selloff.

#13

It certainly looks like it is!!!

#14

This one should do the trick

#17

OK.
I’m holding my breath until this one sells out. . . .

Refresh rate of <= 6 ms is very nice for gaming.

Make sure your computer video card supports TV resolutions. DVI or VGA input would be nice for the TV to have.

I would recommend that you look at the TV’s in person before plunking down your cash or at least check reviews at avsforum.com

Unless you are going pretty cheap/small in which case I’d just stick to a decent brand (Sharp, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, actually some Vizio are pretty good for the $).

My $0.02
