Refresh rate of <= 6 ms is very nice for gaming.
Make sure your computer video card supports TV resolutions. DVI or VGA input would be nice for the TV to have.
I would recommend that you look at the TV’s in person before plunking down your cash or at least check reviews at avsforum.com
Unless you are going pretty cheap/small in which case I’d just stick to a decent brand (Sharp, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, actually some Vizio are pretty good for the $).
