I actually got this same model for Christmas. Between stress and poor posture, my neck and shoulders get tense every day, and even though this thing is kind of weird to look at, it does the job.

Since it had 4 star overall reviews on the mother ship, I ordered one for my wife. One of the reviewers has fibromyalgia and that reviewer said it helped with that pain by allowing a decent massage of the muscle tissue.

Bought this a few months ago for neck and shoulder tightness and cramps. It works well and you provide the level of pressure needed for the massage so no complaining about “you’re pushing too hard”. My wife has used it as much as I have with no complaints.
