I really have to chime in here big time. Woot, what are you doing??? I have been with Woot forever and have placed hundreds of orders. Woot is no longer what Woot was, but that is probably not a big revelation to many. Woot was a good place to find items at a good price in the past along with good customer service, but things have definitely changed.
So this item was on clearance on Woot a few weeks back for the price offered here. I was new to oil diffusers and checked the current price of this diffuser on Amazon which was nearly $80 at the time (which is again the current price on Amazon). So $37 seemed like a good price. I ordered the item and got it in a box that was pretty beat up and with little protection. The diffuser seemed a bit cheap and made out of thin cheap plastic, but I figured that is what you get for such a good price for an item that has bluetooth/wifi/Alexa connectivity. The diffuser seemed to work ok for a day or so, and then it began to stop working intermittently. I then started to question what I had bought given that the item itself seemed pretty cheap and something I would not have bought if I had actually seen and touched the item instead of reading about it on the computer. I realized that, first, the warranty on this item is only 90 days whereas on Amazon, the warranty is one year for the same item. Furthermore, after looking at the price history of the same diffuser on Amazon, the item sells for under $30 on Amazon except when Woot tries to push the item on their site for $37. So if you look at the price history of the Sierra Modern diffuser, you will see the price change from $30 to $80 only on the days that Woot is selling the item for $37. So again, yesterday, this Sierra Modern diffuser was under $30 on Amazon but is now at $80 today while it is being offered on Woot. When this item goes off Woot, the price on Amazon will probably drop back down to the usual price of $30 as it did before. This is such an egregious attempt to sell an item for more on “clearance” on Woot when on any other day on Amazon, the item is cheaper and comes with a one year warranty instead of the 90 limited warranty on Woot.
I ended up returning this Sierra Modern diffuser and picked up another diffuser on Amazon for under $25 which has bluetooth/wifi/Alexa connectivity with a one year warranty. And I am so impressed with the Renpho customer service, I wanted to give them the exposure they deserve here. How often do you get on-going unsolicited proactive communications with customer service who reaches out to the customer to make sure that everything is working perfectly? I will include the link below of the Renpho diffuser I ended up getting which, in my opinion, is much more aesthetically designed and seems to be of much better quality than the Sierra Modern diffuser (and the Renpho app works amazingly well given that most apps are garbage). The Renpho diffuser on Amazon is currently more than when I bought it, but it is still cheaper than the Sierra Modern diffuser here on Woot. And remember, it comes with a one year warranty and great customer support.

Pet owners, especially with cats, need to look up the dangers of oil devices like this. Many offered oils are not good for pets(plus whatever else they add) and atomizing it in the air gets it into their lungs…and yours.
Hi all. Please notice that the sellers on Amazon are 3rd parties as are the prices shown on Camelx3. We can’t control the prices of other companies, much less amazon.
Update: I alerted our buyer to the information presented here. She agrees that it looks like the vendor might be playing with the price and has taken down the sale. Thank you all for the information.
And, now they’re back down in price since your sale ended. And also suddenly available to be fulfilled by Amazon again too. I wouldn’t be doing business with that vendor again in the future.
I agree with everyone else.
Sadly, WOOT has lost it’s edge and excitement
I now SEARCH online every item I’m interested in on WOOT to see if it’s not cheaper/better somewhere else…Pretty sad. I use to sing the praises of WOOT, now I never mention it.
