Silverstone Microwave Pressure Cooker

I bought one of these a few months ago and can give a good review of it. I liked it enough to buy one for my daughter, as well. If you are expecting your mother’s pressure cooker you might be disappointed (no ticking thingie on top scaring the bejeezus out of you, for example), but it does a fine job. There is little control of the pressure, and I suspect that the pressure never builds up to what it would in a regular pressure cooker, but you have the added benefit of the microwave speeding things up so the time saved evens out. I’ve used mine a few times and it did a great (and fast!) job on artichokes, chili and red beans. I also have an electronic pressure cooker, but I wanted this for our boat which has a microwave but no oven.
