I put mine under my mattress pad.
You can purchase a basic mattress pad to place over the foam if that is your preference. I have seen them offered on Woot in the past.
Would this item be dense enough to work as a stand alone mattress in a camper for 2 adults?
This is off-topic a bit but does anyone know what that bed platform/headboard is? I really like the look of it.
Hi I need to know which is the better of the 2 offered? I see the non reversible is higher prices so what is the difference between the 2? I want something that is comfy and will not cause me to get hot. thank you
Both have a great value. The slab is a full 3" of foam across the entire topper. The reversible is sculpted, so there is less foam and therefore a lower price.
They are both manufactured with the same Gel Memory Foam which feature increased air flow through the foam.

Arghgh…decisions… I was hoping to see the 4" Reversible, as my wife is desiring…
But 3" instead should be ok I would guess?..
Can this be cut down to fit on top of an RV queen bed?

The springs in my bed are really squeeky - every time i move it wakes my gf - will this help moving quietly through the night?
I’ve personally found a topper to cut down on noise AND the moving of the bed when someone moves.
We have a nice memory foam mattress, but one down side is the heat it can generate. We should have bought the new more expensive one, but went just above the mid price range. We like it for it’s comfort level, but downside is it’s a warmer sleep…
All that being said, would this cooling gel topper be a smart move to add, would it have a cooling effect?
Sorry I don’t have the brand and model of our current mattress, but I’m currently at work.
In my experience with similar toppers, no. You would easily feel the underlying hard surface.
Two of these stacked would be the minimum that I would want to sleep on. I have a bed constructed with three 3" toppers of similar density stacked and it is very comfortable.
I will add that the bed that I constructed out of three stacked 3" toppers is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I have a bad back and cannot sleep in just any bed.
I’ve had that bed for many years, perhaps seven or eight, and it is still comfortable. We swap the order of the toppers occasionally.
Thanks!
