Sin Zin Temptation Zin and Redemption Zin - 3 Pack

OMG what a hilarious fail! Still, you ain’t seen nothing yet, cock! You can construct a lame first page of a post with a heap of shite in it. I do not want to do it too much, as I felt like a bit of a pussy when once the Nazis handed me a temporary idiot ban. That was because like a retard I had been trying to find out what the woot porn was, and some douchebag thought I was gay, or trying to bypass the fucking filters. LMFAO! Yet it’s almost as awesome as an dick in a BOC to try to fit a few filters into your ■■■■■■■ posts now and then.

Now maybe this is a woot killer. Or I’m a bit of a cunt. But then we knew that! so, STFU

These sound good, but I must lay out. I practically doubled my cellar in two days. Maybe the SWMBOWBM will be lifted by the time the next WootOff arrives.

Oh no, that was a qp! Now it’s done and talked about you simply have to leave your hilarious mistake in or the posts will fall down like a load of skittles! It’s what makes this place that little bit special

and Chargerrt500 you should be so lucky!

DAMN YOU NEW JERSEEEYYYYYYYYyyyyyyy…

I so appreciate all of your random snippets of info, thumbs ups and tasting tidbits. I’m a fairly new Wooter, completely sucked in, never to return to the person I was just a few short months ago. And for that, I thank you!

This is a good producer, though I’ve only had their Cab S and Cab F. Zin may be a different ballgame. Anyway, the Bdx varietals I’ve tasted have a lot of character and depth for the sub-$20 price point, yet are structured for near term approachability.

For $12 per bottle, seems like a decent bet to place given the producer. I’m still not a fan of Zins, though, so I’ll pass. Even the Zins I like don’t do it for me.

LOL, ok, clearly they need to update the Halloween themed filters for either Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Regarding the write-up, wouldn’t “Temptation” come before “Sin” (with “Redemption” being the natural closer)?

Here’s the skinny on the Temptation:

Nothing satanic about it, but definitely a juicier style of Zin, a bit lighter than the Sin and Redemption. Mostly Sonoma fruit with 46% from the Dry Creek Valley, 23% from the Alexander Valley and the balance from vineyards in Solano. I would say black cherries and plums are the principle flavors.

The 07 was picked a Best Buy selection by Wine Enthusiast.

Happy Woot Birthday to me!!!

Alright, I’ve been around a little while and still can’t figure out acronyms like “SWMBOWBM”…Please inform the clueless.

The Sin Zin was on clearance at my local Cost Plus for $12-$14 over the weekend. And there was lots of it there. FWIW.

ok, this is straight from the zinner’s mouth (meaning our winemaker). It’s the way the blend came together that shows in the palate more than what you might pick up from just looking at the numbers. The Redemption is a blend of Zin from two different vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley that are very different. One is a warmer site that delivered fruit with higher brix and lower acids, the other is a cool site that gave us just the opposite.

There is more alcohol here than in the 06 Redemption, but this is not a wine that is hot as hell (sorry couldn’t help it). It is very balanced.

(S)he (W)ho (M)ust (B)e (O)beyed (W)ine (B)uying (M)oratorium.

So what’s the word on this one? I’m not the biggest zin fan, but sounds like a decent QPR and get to sample a couple different styles?

I am a zin fan (not buying though unless it’s Chase), and this was my take on it also. Nice price point and a chance to sample three different styles. Doing so at the same time would be the most benificial if you’re trying to learn your preferences. Long story short, a very fair offer (although I hate the gimmicky titles).

For you ratings fans, Beverage Testing Institute gave both the 08 Sin Zin and 07 Redemption 93 Points.

Thank you! Lov to hear people’s opinions on that clever blending.

Incidentally, do you have properly sinful label versions, without the fig leaves?

let me mull that one over…of the three, I think Temptation and Sin would be best for mulled wine. As for Redemption, well you really have to taste Redemption so I would not include that in your recipe.

I do love zin, and hate it when I try a new one, love it and then realize I only bought one. So in for two, with the redemption going to the back row with the other 90% of my wine collection.
