Can these be worn in water (e.g.wading into surf, walking along a creek bed), or will it destroy the shoe?
What happens if they don’t fit right?
Blisters.
These are one of my favorite shoe purchases. They are amazingly comfortable for leisure wear. You COULD wear then in water, but you would battle the same bacteria smelly issues as a normal shoe. The sole liner does not come out.
I wear a 8.5 in Saucony and Adidas, but had to get these in an 8. I have worn leather fisherman sandals for years until I discovered this. With bare feet or sock liners, you can complete the laid back look with shorts, like Charlie in Two and a Half Men.
This price is a good $10 off the price you would find at a Skechers outlet store as well. I will be buying each color for myself.
A normal no-show sock is not low enough be invisible. Skechers sells super low ones one have rubber on the heel to keep them from falling down into the shoe. Sock or no-sock is just a comfort thing. The liners are so thin, your feet will still sweat. The liner will soak up some of the sweat though as to prevent the wet skin to soul liner feel.
