I’ve been wanting to try these! the $5 coupon helped me decide to do it.
I’m glad you mentioned the coupon!
I’m in with the $5 APRILSAVEFIVE coupon!
If you have a Trader Joes nearby they have a 4-Pack for $5.99 (made in Nepal).
Love the idea. They do a great job with wrinkles, but don’t do much for static. Also it sounds like two cats are fighting in your dryer, so if it’s not off in a well insulated corner of your basement the noise might bother you (why I stopped using them).
I bought these last time - you will NOT be sorry, they are great! Helps reduce drying time.
Yay! Do they keep sheets from just balling up?
That sucks to hear they dont work well for static since thats the only reason Id buy these. Anyone else have the same issue with them not helping with static? Also how often do you have to replace them?
my mother pinned a safety pin to one…
We’ve been using Alpaca Balls (they don’t seem to mind) for years now. We picked them up from a local farmer who is part of a coop. They are solid alpaca fur and are silent in the dryer.
We haven’t used a dryer sheet since. Well ok…we toss sheets in when drying the dog bedding so we don’t get their fur all over our nice balls.
I can’t speak to what the XL sheep balls will do for you, but if they’re anything like our extra large alpaca balls, you’ll enjoy them bouncing…around in your dryer.
You know, when you don’t specify that they’re “fabric softener” balls, your post takes on a whole new meaning.
But the alpacas don’t mind, so all must be well
I have been using these for years, great for towels and bed speeds! I just read that you can refresh them by putting them in a sock, then put them in the dryer. I just always bought new ones! LOL!!
Recieved my balls yesterday. and WOW what a differences in drying time. Saved me an entire hour of drying time. It cut at least 15 - 20 minutes off per load.
I did throw in one dryer sheet per 2 loads Honesty I normaly use 3-4 a load. I have dogs & don’t want any loose hair
embedded in laundry.
For the saftey pin idea sounds logical, but wonder if it would scratch my dryer?
the question is…“will the sheep mind?”
