What I need to know is… are these tactical flashlights, or strategical flashlights?

It is So Damned Hard to find a good strategical flashlight these days!

Smith and Wesson do not make good flashlights. They start to degrade and fall apart after just a couple weeks. I blame Wesson. I’m betting Smith could have done a lot better on his own. Save your money and put it toward a real flashlight.

I must agree. S&W are known for bad flashlights… they should stick to gun manufacturing. I truly think a company came to them and said “Hey we have flashlights we would like to sell, we will give you XYZ of the profits if you allow us to use your name on the product.” S&W pretty much knows there is nothing that can ruin their reputation when they have been making quality firearms for generations.

Thank you for the info.
I was actually about to buy one too.

I have several i-zoom flash lights that are not lasting long at all. Some of my i-zoom flashlights look like these as well. I am looking for good flashlight for a good price that are not like these i-zoom flash lights.

Especially since, for only ~$5 more, you can buy a low-end Surefire or Streamlight flashlight, run off of CR123A batteries, like the $45 S&W light here. Pretty sure I’d trust those name brand lights a LOT more!

I love my S&W firearms, but I agree with this. Spend a little more and get a flashlight from a dedicated company like Surefire or Streamlight.

These are Chinese and not made by S&W. The name is just licensed. Not even Snap On cares about their name anymore. Snap On at Costco is made by Allied Tools which is also Kawasaki and many other names.

Really appreciate the heads up all.
