Ordered 10/31, delivered 11/2; haven’t opened and and hope I never have to.
Always best to open and inspect for hidden shipping damage or missing parts, so any issues can be resolved quickly.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
You’re not wrong; soon:tm: haha.
What is the manufacturing date on these machines you’re selling? It appears that there was few updates done after 2019. One buyer on Amazon claimed that he received a 2019 model and batteries and both died less than one month of use. Thx
Hi there. These are pulled from Amazon inventory so we don’t have that information and there’s no indication on Amazon. You do have a 3y warranty with Snow Joe though.
Good luck on getting any warranty satisfaction, I had an epic runaround from snow joe on an item under $100, and after many emails, phone calls and multiple sending of receipts and photos they ghosted me. Ymmv, I’m off them for good.
I had the opposite experience with Snow-Joe. I had a product (purchased new in-store) that was cracked in a critical location upon unboxing and they were very prompt in getting a replacement part out to me with only the hassle of a photo of the part and my receipt.
I received my order for this today. I bought one 2 years ago but a family member damaged it so I jumped on this considering the price. I did what little that was needed to assemble it to make sure it works and that checked out. Both batteries were almost completely charged and took maybe 20 minutes to get to full charge.
I did notice a few differences compared to the one bought previously despite both units having the same exact model #. The old one has a switch under the battery door to turn the LED light on/off while the new one doesn’t. Also the chute rod is stronger feeling on the old one due to reinforcement points the new rod doesn’t have. There’s also a safety switch that looks like a giant car fuse under the other battery door on the old one that isn’t there on the new one.
So “new and improved” model or older one? These are minor differences for me personally and as long as it works like my first one did that’s all I really care about but I am a bit curious though.
Edit: found a date code on the side of the units. Old one 202006 and new one 202206.
