Good Point!

Own one, carry it in dress pants. Not as rugged as most SOG knives but never underestimate the usefullness of sharp blade!

Useless against zombies.

Such cutting wit.

Sounds like you might frown on my collection if you feel that way. It’s actually quite a nice price.

I’m going to add it to my pile of bottle caps. You know, just in case…

Glad to see I’m not alone in my post apocalyptic preparations.

My thoughts exactly. Usually I’d frown on a knife of this price. But since it’s a SOG, and I don’t plan on making it my daily carry, and it’s a woot off, and because buying stuff makes me feel better about my pathetic excuse for a life, I said, “Eh. Why not?”

poorhungrydoctor is right, the metal isn’t the best. dulls quickly. “boot clip” will dig a hole in your leg after it wears a hole in your pants pocket and if you are a nervous sort don’t bother with it, you will keep fiddling with the lock/unlock mechanism until you eventually SNAP it open in your pocket…then all of a sudden you’ve got bigger troubles. Ask me how I know.

I generally beware of people who use the phrase “my daily carry”.

I bought a whole set of kitchen knives for $25, is that good enough?

Rock Roll’s favorite knife.
Works well on your pickled Dodo eggs.

My daily carry is a wallet.

Problem?

I would have guessed “juice box” for you…

Ugh, I am mad I missed this. SOG makes good knives for the price, and it would be a nice complement to my current “daily carry” blade (Kershaw Ken Onion “Zero Tolerance 0400-C” Damascus-Steel Tanto 4.65"-blade folding knife with spring-loaded opening assist).

SOG has a good reputation amongst military and LEO’s.

and wannabe badasses…

Just got the knife. Locking mechanism and lock release are far too tight for a small knife like this to be safe.

Shame on SOG for this poor design.

For the record, I’m 65 and have been a knife collector since I was 20. I know knives and certainly know SOG quality. This is not a good design.

This is NOT going in my collection. Not sure what I’m going to do with it.
