Guessing BB model is the same exact model or newer since Woot is a STR-DH750 and BB is a STR-DH770

WENT back and looked at comments when woot had this in the past and saw this info/comments …
This receiver is not HDCP 2.2-compliant and will not support copy-protected 4K video content.
Thank you for pointing this out. I did some additional searching and did confirm that it will not reliably play 4K content on a Fire TV.

The STR-DH770 appears to support 4K and is only $298 on Amazon.
CHEAPER ON EBAY!!! This is why I stopped buying from Woot! They are no longer the cheapest way to go.
The one I saw on eBay was used.
I bought this new from Woot earlier this month, and it is a FANTASTIC receiver. This replaced an HK that had so many problems, so the sound on the Sony blew me away immediately. Super easy to set up, all onscreen menus, Bluetooth is cool but listening to local radio right now. Yes, it has a real FM section! Happy camper here, and the family loves it to. This revitalized my entertainment center.
I also purchased this receiver earlier this month. I purchased a new 4K television and needed an update (older one didn’t have ARC). I also updated my HDMI cables with version 2.0. The unit was easy to set up and It did everything that I needed it to do.
Soooooo which is the newer or best version please. The model here on Wootie or the model being offered at Best Buy. The one a t BB is also a little cheaper if you use the Pay Pal check out feature. Regardless of price I would opt for the newest version - PLEASE ADVISE FOLKS and Thanks !!!
When you view the 750 receiver on Amazon it states that the 770 is a newer version. I haven’t been able to find the difference between the two. I forgot to mention that there is an APP that you can download (SongPal) that works with the receiver. It’s great because I can connect my IPhone via Bluetooth and listen to my music.
