Anyone know the sound quality of this?

Is it basically only good for taking notes until you can write them down?

This is really a good deal and it does a great job for the money. The only drawback for me is that it is not “voice-activated” so it will continually record the session until you manually stop it.

Well, I’m basically looking for… well never mind, it just sold out. lol

I’ve been using mine pretty regularly for about 10 months and I really like this unit. The microphone is sensitive enough to pick up fairly low sounds, and the recordings are very clear. Controls are large and well laid out. Battery life seems pretty long.

What surprised me when I first open the box was how big the unit is. It’s about the same size as a Sony Walkman cassette player. In this age of micro-electronics, I was expecting something much smaller.
