no more “crap”?.. that’s too bad… i think we were getting used to those… oh well, this one’s really nice… check useful linkage for comparing and such.

nice kitty, don’t eat the snake…

The wife and I have an older version of a VAIO and we love it. If we were in the market for a new notebook we would definitely get one of these.

Really cool machine! Woot! Woot!
But I just got a new Lenovo, so gonna pass on this one

It’s worth it just for the cat.

Beware Vista!

watch out kitty. kthxbai

Vista ? Must pass. Unless anyone knows are all the driver comp with XP ?

Cheapest price on Pricegrabber=$1699.99

So whats the battery life?

1.5 to 3 hours is not very helpful in a true sense.

Damn, what a deal!! For only 200 more than what I paid for this Asus junk, you can get a state of the art Vaio! That graphics card can play ANYTHING with maximum specs and the harddrive is as big as any ever made for a laptop. I know I’m sounding like a smucking advertiser but DAMN is it disheartening to see this now!

No way. I’m still trying to get delivery on a $200 XO!

I would slit my wrist before getting vista again.

The screen is 17". How far away could you POSSIBLY get while watching it? Why is there a remote control? Pricey. I don’t get why you would want a laptop to be your tv set. Windows Vista scares me. Otherwise, looks nice.

5400 rpm drive broke the deal.
Otherwise - an OK deal.

That laptop makes my macbook pro weep. If I had $1400, I’d buy one right now.
<and now the sarcastic comment>

Does it come preloaded with root kits?

There, got that out of the way. Now the rest of you can pony up the cash to buy me one ;).

Okay, I knew there had to be a catch! Thanks for spotting that.
