Sony WF1000X/BM1 True Wireless Earbuds

Sony WF1000X/BM1 True Wireless Earbuds

Anyone have a review on these? Looking for some wireless buds since my phone 3.5mm has never worked. :joy:

Not personally had these, but doubt I would purchase even at this price. Reviews at Sony, Amazon, and even Best Buy (which usually has overly inflated positive reviews) are far from stellar.

I personally love them.

Sound quality isn’t bad at all, with proper fitting tips. Add the noise canceling and they can block out a ton of noise.

Biggest issue with them I’ve had in 6 months (bought from here when they were listed “like new” but really they were actually new, just without a Sony warranty) is the Bluetooth delay. The two headphones pair together, then then to the phone. So watching videos there is a very noticeable delay–I’d say a solid second, maybe two depending on video source. Not good, but doesn’t bother me that much tbh.

Battery life as of the latest firmware update (firmware updates also added Google assistant support recently, which I like) is amazing. I use these at the gym, and even sitting on a stationary bike for an hour watching a movie the headphone battery doesn’t drop below 60%. I can get through an entire 2 hour gym session with plenty of time to spare on it. The case really does charge then quickly, too, and several times. I use them every day during the week, for at least an hour and charge the case once a week.

Also, totally subjective, but I think they just plain look good. I have the champagne ones, and they’re gorgeous.

Overall, at this price with a Sony warranty, I’d give them a solid 4/5. They sound good, are noise canceling, battery life is great, the only negative I have is the delay-which again, doesn’t bother me that much.

Kept losing connection in the right ear when I bent over or move quickly. Noise canceling didn’t really work either compared to others I have tried. I am returning these and do not recommend.
