Do yourself a favor and buy a pair of Blue Tooth headphones. I have tried wireless ones from every manufacturer including Sony and they all were horrible. Constant static and popping sounds. With my BT ones I have no static or popping. Just crystal clear TV watching, music, etc.
I completely agree with this mostly. It’s better than nothing, but I would try to go with the Bluetooth too.
It would be nice if you would tell the us what you have and how it works.
Bluetooth for TV is somewhat a specialty thing. Meaning if you don’t get the right stuff, you will have syncing issues. It could be like what a Chinese film converted to English kind of thing while watching TV.
As for these, I have an older version that I got bent over twice for. (SONY, then Retailer)
The little dial for the volume. Like the old hand-held transistor radios you had as a kid. The dial would rag out really quick, static city when touched.
SAME with this, adult lightly used, the dial stopped working within the warranty period and I being a busy with life, I failed to take it back for repair.
Now it still works. I can get it to work with some effort. Static and left of right channels go out trying to find the right spot on the dial to get it work. AND it stuck on HIGH VOLUME. Very bad for my hearing.
So long story short, you are buying Sony here, but you are getting old technology and it’s not worth the price, even at this discount.
While I agree Bluetooth may be a good solution, I think most TVs don’t have bluetooth pairing option. These RF headphones are meant for TV watching, so they have an external audio input on the base itself to pair them with a TV or Receiver. I have a pair of Sennheiser RS160 that work great!
