How far into the 5 year shelf life are we?
Ummm the manufacturer website sells the bars for $7 each, currently on sale for $6. 
Oh and they say it tastes like a coconut cookie, FYI
I’ve tasted a similar bar once during work training (just a bite tho cuz that whole bar was 3K calories). It tasted like a bland granola bar and had the texture of a suet-seed ball iirc, it’s been a couple years. It wasn’t bad but OTOH my expectations were on the floor
Well, bland or not, the idea is to not die of starvation, so I’ll take a bland “coconut cookie” in an emergency.
Oh for sure, I was just expecting it to be something horrible I had to choke down, so bland was a pleasant surprise
