I am both intrigued and terrified by the thought of the 'Brown Noise" setting
I have absolutely nothing useful to contribute, but I wanted to thank you.
Your comment made my morning and maybe my entire day! ![]()
I’m just wondering what sound of a “Baby” is supposed to help me sleep.
LOL.

Oh yes, nothing is more soothing than a crying baby. Er, not
There are no pictures showing the clock display. And how is the alarm set?
Hi there. It’s not a clock. It uses a timer for the sound.
How does this compare to original one (black unit)
I would love to find one of these machines that does not loop. So far I have found that only the Marpac Dohm or the LectroFan do not loop but neither have rain or wind sounds.
I have one of the older versions of this machine and really like the sounds. I’m actually on my second one as the first one stopped working and I had to buy another. The sounds are not looped, (at least not short enough that you would notice) I did notice that the speaker they are using in the second one I bought is not as good as the one that was in the first.
Some of the sounds are kind of ridiculous. I mainly use the ocean and the rain sounds. I also like the adaptive sound ability. In other words, when a dog barks outside, car noise, etc., it automatically increases the sound level to block the noise out. There is also a timer on it that will run the sound for a certain period of time and then stop the sound. I always leave mine on the entire time I’m sleeping.
I’m going to purchase another one just to have it on hand as a spare machine for travel and in case the machine I have now dies.
I highly recommend this sound machine.
The description claims “non-repeating”. Do you doubt it?
I have purchased several other brands that were not supposed to loop, but they looped…so I tend to doubt it. Not everyone can hear the loop, but I can and once my brain picks it up I CANNOT go to sleep.
Ok, I am in for one. I read the reviews and this one seems to have NO complaints about looping. I have never have seen that for a machine that can make more than just white noise.
And I am a sound machine junky!
I wonder what the “Display” button does?
This would be a nifty idea and all, but there’s an Alexa skill for this, you know.
I tried it, it shuts off after just a few minutes making it worthless. You are not a true white noise person!!!
