Oh hell, I’ve been drinking again. I already have one of these, that I bought for a bargain store for nearly double the price. I bought it, and it was broken.

So what do I do? Besides being lazy and missing the 30 day return period? I buy another one. Now maybe I have 2 of these things to watch movies with me though, so that’s cool.

Yeaahhhh… just like the BB-8, when these hit ten bucks, I’m in.

They’re just not versatile enough and I do not need a $70 paperweight or dust-collector…

Also: “App-enabled” is newspeak for “we’re not including a remote and raising the price regardless.”

Nope, they really are app-enabled and there are a ton of connected features such as participating in viewing the movie that are far more than just “no remote” excuse, you can even have multiple models all participate in the same viewing via the app.

Not even seven inches tall? 17cm? Not for $65…

This isn’t the droid I’m looking for.

What an appropriate item for today. May the fourth be with you.

I don’t have the discretionary income to be dropping that kinda money on a little bot (I’d buy BB-8 first anyways) but I thought I’d drop by to say that the Sphero droid sales video is really well done.

I’m sick of Star Wars. Milking it so much, it’s not special anymore.

Mine came in today. It is a toy, but it’s well constructed with excellent detail. The app works really well for controlling it, and it fun to play around with.

Worth the money? Maybe, the Woot price was pretty good. If you have some money to burn on yet another Star Wars toy, and if you have hardwood floors to play with it, totally worth the money.

Description said factory refurbished. Not so sure on that, pretty sure these are brand new. Or, perhaps I got lucky. Who knows, I was playing with this little droid unit when I was a bit drunk earlier, and every loved it. I think it was worth the price.

$49.99 while they last, R2-D2’s evil cousin from RotJ R2-Q5.
