Stadium country music is:
Give me rock and blues. And I am #1!
Never can complain if it’s some Garth Brooks. ![]()

Makes me think of monster trucks.

I’ve been to see Reba, Dolly, Kenny Rogers, Garth Brooks, and Travis Tritt in huge stadiums. They were all fantastic concerts!!!
No country. Bluegrass or western only.

Never been. Brad Paisley in an auditorium. Garth Brooks at the Wynn. The rest of the country have been county and state fairs: Brooks & Dunn (w/ ZZ Top the same night), Diamond Rio, Alabama, Lone Star, and David Lee Murphy come to mind. Great time at those fairs.

I don’t know what the hell “stadium country” music is, but I do know that there hasn’t been any good mainstream country in at least a decade… and that’s pushing it.
I’ll stick with the outlaws that aren’t welcome in the mainstream.
As George Strait sang
I didn’t see bleck/shudder as an option. It really should be.

Trippy picture notwithstanding, sweet corn is the best fair food!
I had no idea of trippy coloring. My phone goes grayscale or dog vision at night lol.

Outlaw country has neat history, and it is always needed. The industry tries to force artist in boxes. Willie tried to fit and failed. He wasn’t a Rhinestone cowboy. So, he went home sang the same songs, but he did how he wanted to sound. He was able to do that because people recognize that music needs heart and soul, not a receipe. So, that is why Waylon could ask the receipe-driven industry, “Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way?” You would think Nashville would have learned that lesson, but as the 90s rolled on, they started receipe-driven music or 2000+s GQ country (upgraded over the Rhinestones), again.
Thank goodness that I am not the only one - absolutely no idea what stadium country is
Did see Faith Hill and Tim McGraw on their Soul 2 Soul Tour (2006) which was wonderful, but it was who opened for them which is hysterical - Taylor Swift. At the time she was a homeschooled, 16 year old.
It’s just Bubblegum Pop with a cowboy hat isnt it?
Wow I bet those were great concerts. I"m jealous!
Ditto i liked them Dixie Chicks
Teen-pop music for men who can’t admit they love teen pop music.
