I have had this type tool in 2 brands, the “General Tools” item is no different from the “Alternate Brand” except the Alternate costs only $4 every single day. When I took apart my broken one from General Tools, and also the one “Alternate Brand” I had the only difference I saw was that one had been made with a defective part that eventually cracked and broke. Oh, and the “General Tools” item is engraved with the company name, so I guess the extra $6 paid for it did give you something…
