90-day Woot warranty = manufacturer won’t be around to stand by the product. Expect the drill/batteries to be disposed (e-waste, please!) on the 91st day.

Now if the decimal point was moved over a spot or two to the left, it might be a good deal …

Was thinking of getting this for my sis for a Christmas gift. But, yeah, the short warranty is a concern, as is lack of online reviews that I can find.

What did she do to deserve the consideration of something like this?!

Get her something that’s a real brand with a real warranty. This weekend, Home Depot had an 18V Ryobi drill with a lithium ion battery for $40. Manufacturer’s 3-year warranty, and that one battery will outlast the two 12V NiCad here, both in usability and durability.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have no clue about drills (and she really doesn’t either, as a newly single)–all I know is she has purchased a few cheapies and they don’t work. I’ll check out the Ryobi.
