As a former wine snob, I can honestly say I’m delighted with Ste. Chapelle wines. They’re decidedly a favorite on my very short list. For those who don’t know, Idaho’s wine region is perfect in climate and soil, with lots of diverse growing area, from dry, high-desert volcanic soils to ancient and rich, fertile sediment regions, the wine produced by many of Idaho’s “smaller” vintners are actually more highly rated than many of the older, bigger producers.
