StealthSwitch
Feets don’t fail you now
$19.99 + $5 Shipping and Handling

Of our friends, neighbors, colleagues and family members, we ask just one question: why you got to be all up in our business?

It’s irritating, but the unavoidable fact is that it’s human nature to be curious about the personal lives of our fellow citizens. Long ago, the tribal busybody probably played an essential role in the nascent sociaties of our prehistoric ancestors. By now, though, you would think we’d evolved to the point where people could keep their noses out of matters that don’t concern them, like our private, personal emails to RealDoll customer service.

You’d think so, anyway, but you’d be wrong! If there’s anything people love more than unearthing delicious morsels of gossip like so many succulent truffles, it’s dishing to their peers. Don’t believe us? Let your guard down for just one consarned moment, then, and see if some self-styled Kitty Kelly doesn’t spread your personal, financial, sexual, political or professional secrets all over your school, workplace or model rocketry club.

Luckily, there’s a new weapon in the privacy war, and it’s called the StealthSwitch. Plug this sneaky bastard in between the keyboard and your computer (or into an available USB port), give it a discreet tap of the toe, and all those Nosy Parkers can mind their own business, ‘cause they won’t be minding yours.

Based on your preferences, the StealthSwitch can be set to hide the current window, hide all windows, or hide all but your specified windows. Not just minimize, mind you, but totally erase from your screen. It can also mute sound, hide the taskbar, hide the desktop icons, and password protect the restore function. When the coast is clear, give it another quick tap-tap-taparoo, and you can flame, fap or frag in peace.

Among other nifty features is the StealthSwitch’s ability to actually launch a specified application when hiding a window if that application isn’t already open. This means you don’t have to keep running applications that you don’t need, just in case someone checks you. Plus, if you’re not around to step on the switch, a timed hiding feature will hide windows after a specified period of inactivity.

The StealthSwitch protects our way of life at a time when it’s come under increasingly hostile attack from snoops and prudes of every variety. What’s that, Mr. Rutledge? You’d like to know what we’ve been working on all day? Where do you think you are, Big Brother: Red China? No, sir; this is the United States of America, and it’s none of your beeswax!

But no, since you asked, we haven’t finished this afternoon’s quota yet. Sorry about that. We’ve been really, uh… busy.

Naysayers who say alt+tab is better: Compared to alt+tab, StealthSwitch is

  • faster
  • more subtle
  • configurable to hide all windows, current windows, or all windows except certain windows
  • able to mute the sound
  • able to close all AOL IM windows at once
  • cooler
  • highly reliable (works every time)
  • able to make windows invisible -not just minimized
  • a footswitch so it works when your hands are holding a phone or something else
  • password protected
  • able to perform a timed hide
  • able to hide all desktop icons
  • able to hide the taskbar
  • able to save your job – under the right (wrong) set of circumstance
