They always smell like that but it washes out. Mine have never come wrapped in plastic inside the plastic envelope.
I’m glad you added the pictures. I thought it would be bigger too.

Hello, we are sorry to hear the design is smaller than you hoped! The sample image we show on screen is a representation of the Men’s sized shirts. Women’s and Kids sizes have the art scaled depending on the size and the Fit. Smaller shirts need to be loaded on smaller print pallets on the printers to keep the shirt and the designs from stretching and deforming. Unfortunately, this can limit the maximum print size for those sized shirts. As for the smell, that is usually from the pretreat we have to spray on the shirts for the ink to stick to the shirts. We know it is not the best and we recommend washing your shirts before wearing. As manlapig mentioned, please reach out to our customer service team if you have not already.
