Whoa…
I was thinking of pulling the trigger on this and I researched more to see how much power it draws to learn if usable in the road with an inverter. Then I learned, this thing DOES NOT inflate tires. It has no compressor. According (to some full Amazon reviews), you have to hook up a seperate compressor to inflate the tire. This is just a tire pressure measuring system. HARD PASS!
Yeah, seems pretty oriented to a garage or shop that would be doing a lot of inflating through the day. Doesn’t look like it’s just a monitor, seems like it would automatically inflate to a set pressure with high accuracy but it doesn’t supply the pressure itself. I guess I’d call it an inflation controller? Still a pass for me too, mostly because I have a really nice/accurate analog inflator gauge.
Why would anyone want this? You just need an air nozzle with a pressure gauge to fill something. Unless you want this to remotely fill something like…I don’t even know.
