Just received this a couple of days ago. It is super soft! I bought the king size and it is large enough that I have a row of squares hanging off on each side. There were a couple of loose threads but overall it looks great!
It did get a bit hot the first couple of nights and I woke up sweating, but I think it is just insulating in my husband’s body heat. He is like a furnace at night. However, this now allows me to turn the AC down to the Arctic temps that he loves while still feeling cozy myself!
