Surge Protectors

Any information on how many amps the two USB ports push? I looked at Philips website and the manual with no luck.

I ordered two of these this morning and was also curious about the amps. If you click on the second pic and enlarge and look closely, it reveals 15amps. I have the new iPad Air and I believe it’s 12watts, so I hope it works.

15 amps is way too much for USB and i believe it refers to the total capacity of the electrical connections. It says to use one USB port for tablets and one for smart phones so one is higher than the other. the last time these came up they didnt get good reviews and wooters claimed it wouldnt charge their devices fully, so i suspect a low amperage: Philips 3-Outlet + 2 USB Surge Protector

The white power cubes that come with apple products are 2.1a, but some phones come with as little as 0.75a (750ma)
