One of my grandmothers told her kids she wasn’t going to be called Granny.
So of course, that is what we all called her.
My grandmother’s nickname was “Meme”, pronounced “Me-Me”.
My grandfather’s nickname was “Pop-pop”, but it got shortened to “Pop” at some point.
I suspect that’ll be what happens
