12 piece set at the mothership: 4.6 stars, 470 reviews, $66.67
Walmart 4.4 stars/21 reviews, $99, but they say dishwasher safe? (Amazon review said not dishwasher safe but easy to clean)
Just want to chime is and say that while you might be fine with dish washing nonstick cook wear, I highly wouldn’t recommend doing it if you want your pans to last. You should never put any type of nonstick wear in dishwasher. Only lightly use a mild soap from time to time to clean them and of course never use any utensils that could scratch or harm the pans as well.
Most soaps in dish washers are very strong since they are designed to penetrate food stuck on things that’s the last thing you want touching something as sensitive as Teflon or any other nonstick material.
Best way to handle the pots is to rinse with hot water and dry and put away, only use soap if its greasy or very messy. Do this and your pans will last a lot longer!
I assume the lids fit on the frying pans as well?
T-Fal itself says: “The revolutionary exterior coating allows daily dishwasher use while maintaining T-fal Ultimate’s hard anodized satin grey appearance.” http://www.t-falusa.com/Cookware-%26-Kitchenware/Pots-%26-Pans/Ultimate-hard-anodized/p/r-p-ultimate-hard-anodized#
Yes they do, I have a similar set to the 12pc and the small frying pan shares with one of the small pots, while the large frying pan shares with the Dutch oven. The larger set may share more but not sure. I believe it also says so in the description.
Quote The T-fal Ultimate Hard Anodized 17-Piece grey cookware set is a versatile and stylish addition to any kitchen. Unquote.
EXECPT kitchens with INDUCTION BURNERS!!!
And despite the bold claims of advertising copy, everything chaedog said about not putting coated cookware in the dishwasher is still 100% correct.
Also, Quote: “Safe for all cooking methods except induction”
Anyone know how to get your UPC code for the 17pc set. You cannot register the set for warranty purposes without one.
Maybe the box or manual? If not, you might reach out to T-fal to see where the UPC they’re asking for, is located.
