Speaking of “adventure”, will it fit under an airplane seat?

Comments from a previous sale

The United 757-200 plane features an under-the-seat depth of 17 inches, a height of 10.5 inches and a width of 20 inches.

This bag measures 11" x 17" with a 7" thickness.

So, yes.

Does it have the opening for a hydration pack?

Yes. I have used this for 2 day trips with a little room to spare. It’s pretty narrow. I’ve turned mine into a grab-n-go bag for work. Just the right size that can’t be overloaded LOL (my BOB in my car has topped 40lbs). I don’t recall it having an opening or a pouch for a bladder. There is space between the bag and padding that opens fro m the top. I wouldn’t put a bladder in it because it would be like wearing a fence post on your back.

What is the quality of the build? Is it plasticky material, or a similar material to north face backpacks?

Sorry, no opening for a hydration pack.

I just happened to be on Bang good earlier today looking at an oscilloscope kit and I saw these bags for $9.99 USD http://www.banggood.com/30L-Outdoor-Camo-Backpack-Rucksack-Camping-Hiking-Trekking-Shoulder-Bag-Pack-p-87544.html?rmmds=search

Just saying.

I bought one of these awhile back. Very poor quality build. Spend a little more on the Yukon packs and you’ll be happy.

Careful what you buy from Banggood. Prices are good but quality is very poor. Just returned from a trip using a new fanny pack purchased from them, one zipper broke before I got on the plane, got that fixed at destination, but another broke on the way home. Junk. Just sayin…

Eh, I have a Yukon pack from Woot that is only OK. It’s still serviceable, but the build quality I’d describe as similar to average Jansport. It didn’t take long before one of the main zippers became unusable, so I fastened it to the corner and now just use the other zipper on the same track. The shoulder seam is starting to come apart now and one of the liners for one of the front pockets collapsed into another pocket.

I think 511 is supposed to be the gold standard in tactical bags, but you’ll pay for it. IMHO, if you’re going to use these things as daily drivers, expect that they’ll break down in a couple of years.

Too small and poor quality.

I knew I would need to make modifications as soon as I ordered it. I removed the central strap that runs vertically down the pack (I am not going to be strapping anything to this thing’s exterior anytime soon). I also removed the hip belt, which, due to how high it sits, is more like a “belly button belt”. I’ve electrical taped all of the zipper tabs to quiet their jingling, however, I am considering removing them altogether and using looped zip strips for true silence. I haven’t had it out yet (hiking/geocaching), but we’ll see how it holds up.

Yes it’s tiny

Very poor quality!!! The rings for the waist buckle don’t even secure the straps and the zippers are lesser quality than a Jansport bag.

Wish I could have saved myself 20 bucks…

I ordered Charcoal but received a Black one.

Oh no! If you haven’t already, please use the Customer Service form for assistance.

Small, but beyond that it’s small.

And it’s the smallness that makes it not big enough to carry stuff that a bigger backpack would carry.
