Unless it’s 309 or 310 stainless and passivated, it won’t be stainless for long. Too much heat for too long will ruin it.
I looked all over the internet for more info. on this to find out what kind of stainless is used and the thickness of material and found nothing. It is strange that the stainless one is 22 lbs. and the carbon steel one is 38 lbs.
