This thing has a smell from hell that will not go away. It works well, but the awful stench keeps me from using it.

Smell ? Did you get a used product? Or is it like a rubber smell some people can’t handle?
Based on the pictures this one looks like the “newer model”. Not sure it actually received any upgrades aside from the pattern on the gun itself.
Caveat emptor with this one. Got one off the mothership and returned because doa. Got a different brand that works great.
