I grabbed one of these on Prime Day for my guest room. Set up was quick and easy. The wifi has also been decently quick. Good choice for a guest room set, but I’ve only had it a short time.

Bought this TV on Woot a year ago (July 17, 2016) and couldn’t be happier! (Paid $449, which was a great price at the time.)

Set up was really easy and the picture quality is great.

I primarily use this as a monitor for my TiVo, but recently I use the Roku functions more and more, because Netflix and Amazon are faster through the Roku than they are via TiVo.

Be sure to add surge protection to Electrical AND cable input. I lost two of these in 1 week to storms. Other than that the features of the TV are great, picture is great. The TV is very light/easy to mount. User friendly, just seems susceptible to surges.

Bought my new TCL Roku 55" from Costco.com for $420 last month. I’ve been very happy with the Internet/Roku set up and with the over-the-air reception. So far, worth every penny.

Great TV. Best interface and remote!

This TV is available at Costco in the 55 inch version for 399. If you paid more than that within the last 30 days you can get a refund on the difference. I’m more confident with Costco’s return policy than that of Woot

Got one a year ago and couldn’t be happier. We don’t have cable and don’t miss it with all the streaming options. This supports miracast from mobile devices, so if you can stream it on your tablet you can see it on the big screen. Not that we’ve used it that often, since you can stream almost anything the tablet does on the TV. The only things are password-protected stuff like a subscription to MLB baseball.

The interface is easy to use, it was easy to set up, and we’ve never had a problem with it beyond trying to get it to fit on the dresser in the bedroom. One of those tiny feet wanted to slip off no matter which way I positioned it. Piece of wood, dresser scarf, problem solved.

It came in a huge box but the box was really light for its size. One person can carry it, no problem at all. Get it. I’m getting another one.

I just bought the 55" at Wal Mart for 398$
Cannot be beat in it’s price range… 4K UHD while still in its early phases looks crisp and sharp on this thing. I also was a roku user before I bought it, and the UI on the TV is just as good as my devices.
Love it

The 32" models were $99 at one point on Amazon so keep on eye on pricing. When they dropped to $169 I replaced all the bedroom and workout room TV’s with this brand (5). I also bought 4 more at $99 for family members. All were new. So while the size here is different, I can say that the brand has been solid and not one of the 9 have had any issues in 2 years. Pulls in Wi-Fi well and setup was a breeze. Not a dead pixel on any of them. Very lightweight TV’s. Remote buttons are sparse and lack a proper keypad.

If you are comfortable with the price, these are great TV’s.

I would be careful. I bought a 55" 2 years ago and it has recently quit on me. I had it surge protected and took really good care of it. It has some weird problems. I wouldn’t expect to get more than 2 or so years out of them.

I have several TCL Roku tvs, (2) 40" HD, a 50" 4k, and a 55" 4k. I bought 3 of the 4 as refurbs here on Woot. They all work fine, and the wifi is dual band AC, which works well in my home, but I have power line ethernet adapters setup, and the 40" models don’t have ethernet ports. I see the 43" doesn’t take ethernet either, so there’s that. Otherwise for cord cutters, these TCL Roku tvs are excellent.

For those getting the 55" 4k models at Costco or WM for $400, were they HDR? Cause this 55" is HDR.
