I’ve never seen these bulbs on, but there’s nothing “soft” about 5000k.
Yeah, I need 2700k.
Love these all over in our house (No, we don’t need to wear shades :). It’s stunning how yellow the “soft white” bulbs look next to them. They are very white, almost bluish. As the OP said, they are not “soft” in any way.
They are also better if you have SAD (seasonal affective disorder, I think it is) because they are closer to - well - daylight.
One more thing - LED lights claim a long lifetime. That’s true, but there will be a few that burn out quickly (within the first month or year) - it’s the average lifetime that is very long.
That surprised me, as I had to replace a few rather soon, but since then … no more dead bulbs.
Misleading description. Some parts say soft, some say daylight. Pictures show both options. I almost ordered, but can’t trust it. Definitely do not want 5k bulbs.
Hi all. We’ve removed the reference to “Soft”. Last time we ran this sale, we had both options. We missed a spot when updating the features. Sorry!
not impressed, first three I installed seem very low output for a 5000k bulb “supposedly” rated at 60W equivalency
