We do not advise using the Solis Probes on other thermometer units as ours is crafted for the Tenergy Solis Thermometer.
Unfortunately I opened my grill the other day to find the silicon sleeve on my probe on fire. Most disappointing.
One heads up: the colored silicone sleeves on the probes cannot handle high heat. I used mine in the grill while searing the meat, and they turned mushy.
I got one of these a couple of weeks ago. The thermometer is very accurate. Due to the weight of the wire, these have not worked well with hamburgers (the probe just falls over), but they are fine with solid pieces of meat (chicken, steak, etc.). The case is nice.
