However, what confuses me is according to the formatting guide:
“Additionally phpBB features something called Magic Linkswhich will turn any syntatically correct URL into a link without you needing to specify any tags or even the leading http://. This is what seems not to work for me. Which should be no surprise, as I am just now tonight attempting first posts and reading through the instructions/tips.

So, if you’re looking to waste time during the woot-off, how about giving me the step-by-step on how to link to stl’s brick on page 4 of contest 107?
Remember, the quicker I learn this, the sooner you don’t have to wade through my new guy stupid questions and posts.
PS… The reason stl’s brick didn’t win is that woot was leary of paying the shipping for all those brick trophies. (Josephus’s wood shower thing is much lighter)

Ok, that linked the page containing stl’s brick, but not to the part of the page with the brick (it’s a long page).
Also, in the link everybody sees, how do I change the link name from “incredibly long url name” to “stl’s brick” ?
