Since the woot!-provided specs seem to be nearly identical, I went hunting the Texsport site. However, I can’t seem to find the Osprey or the Phoenix in the Texsport products catalog, to look up the differences.
Amazon has these at $58 (Osprey) and $82 (Phoenix) so the woot! price is decent, but I’d like to find out the differences before making a decision. Anyone have any insights to offer on these tents?

I did the same. You can find the instructions, and they use identical text and pictures; only the name and number change. Weird.
Hey, I got hold of the buyer for this. The main difference is the Phoenix has Aluminum poles as opposed to fiberglass on the Osprey.

it seems the phoenix is lighter, as well? from what i’ve dug up one is listed as “under ten pounds” (the osprey) and the other is listed as “six pounds”. the only person who reverses this is an amazon user who says his osprey is “five pounds”. weird. why is there no information on these things?
also, it took me forever to even figure out how to find the conversation on these products. perhaps we could have a link nex tot the product as with the normal woots?
